MARIE - Clinical Advisor A Registered Nurse and healthcare leader with over 27 years of experience, Marie has had the privilege of working in various nursing and leadership roles in the community, hospital, and long-term care. It was during these years that she found her passion for working with seniors and learning more about dementia. Her personal experiences with family living with dementia has also provided insight into the challenges faced by caregivers. Witnessing patients and family members living with dementia sitting idly with no stimulation or purposeful activities, motivated Marie to be part of Dementia-Tools.com, a company dedicated to providing tools and activities to enhance the lives of those living with dementia while also creating opportunities for family, friends and caregivers to bond. Marie endeavours to enrich the lives of those living with dementia and to bring joy and purpose to their daily lives.		ROD - Founder & Tech Advisor Rod is a seasoned Business and Technology executive who is active in the startup community. Currently, he is the COO for a scaleup in the Mental Health space. He has also served as an advisor to Arzela.io, an artificial intelligence social media influencer identifier platform, where he assisted with technology and business strategy. As the founder of Koresume.com, a machine learning and natural language processing not-for-profit, he developed the original algorithm and application that compares resumes to job descriptions and finds keywords allowing users to customize their resumes. Throughout his 24 year career, Rod has built a reputation for: developing business and technology strategies, incubating new business models, transforming organizations and driving technology innovation. Rod has a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering. He is also a Professional Engineer (P.Eng) and a Certified Information Systems Professional (CISSP) and an active public speaker on Cybersecurity.
