Engaging people living with dementia in music activities can be a valuable tool for enhancing the lives of those living with dementia in Canada and beyond! Research studies found that music therapy improved mood and reduced agitation in individuals with dementia. Music therapy should be considered as a complementary intervention for people living with dementia.
